Bashkimi Evropian ka liruar 1.24 miliardë euro për Ukrainën, të cilat do të përdoren për blerjen e dronëve, sistemeve kundërdron, municioneve për dronë dhe armatimeve të prodhuara në vend.Presidentja e Komisionit Evropian, Ursula von der Leyen, tha se fondet do të ndihmojnë Ukrainën të mbrojë njerëzit dhe infrastrukturën nga sulmet ajrore ruse dhe të forcojë industrinë e saj të mbrojtjes.Financimi vjen në një kohë kur Rusia ka intensifikuar sulmet ajrore ndaj Ukrainës, duke vënë veçanërisht Kievin në alarm të vazhdueshëm, transmeton Telegrafi.Kryeministri ukrainas Sergii Koretskyi e mirëpriti ndihmën, duke thënë se fondet do të shkojnë për nevojat më urgjente të mbrojtjes. Presidenti Volodymyr Zelensky, pas sulmeve vdekjeprurëse në disa qytete ukrainase, theksoi se sistemet e mbrojtjes ajrore janë një nevojë jetike.Paketa është pjesë e kredisë së BE-së për Ukrainën, në vlerë totale prej 90 miliardë eurosh për vitet 2026–2027. Two more people were killed in Oleksandriya… My condolences to all the families and loved ones of those killed.
