Presidenti ukrainas Volodymyr Zelensky ka deklaruar se sulmet ruse me dronë ndaj Kievit kanë dëmtuar edhe një ndërtesë që përdoret si rezidencë e ambasadorit të Arabisë Saudite, ndërsa objektivat e goditura përfshijnë gjithashtu kopshte, shkolla, banesa, magazina dhe infrastrukturë komunikimi.Në një deklaratë të publikuar të dielën, Zelensky tha se vetëm gjatë ditës së fundit, në Kiev janë dëmtuar dy kopshte dhe dy shkolla, një ndërtesë banimi, një servis automjetesh, disa magazina dhe objekte të komunikimit.Sipas presidentit ukrainas, në mesin e ndërtesave të dëmtuara ndodhet edhe ajo që shërben si rezidencë e ambasadorit saudit në kryeqytetin ukrainas.Zelensky e cilësoi sulmin si një goditje ndaj popullsisë civile dhe tha se Rusia nuk ka, sipas tij, objektiva ushtarake në këto goditje, transmeton Telegrafi.“Ky është një përpjekje për të thyer njerëzit dhe për t’i shkaktuar sa më shumë dëm shoqërisë sonë”, tha ai, duke shtuar se sulmet kanë shkaktuar viktima dhe dhjetëra persona janë plagosur.Today alone, and in Kyiv alone, Russian jet-powered drones “vanquished” two kindergartens and two schools, an ordinary residential building, an auto repair shop, several warehouses, and communications facilities.
